When the weather is sunny and fabulous, it's best to take advantage and head to the beach. Brighton has been at the top of my list since before moving to London. I was so excited to finally visit this famous "beach". And I say "beach" because I'm from Australia, where sand is plentiful and pebbles are the pretty things that are sporadically along the shoreline.
Starting off this sunny Saturday was a short visit to Eastbourne and the Seven Sisters cliffs. An absolutely breathtaking sight. I would recommend visiting the cliffs for an entire day. Pick a hot and sunny day, pack a picnic, some booze and boardgames and just enjoy the sites. A 45 minute bus ride takes you to Brighton. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time to spend in Brighton, so it was a short but sweet trip for me. Of course, there was plenty of time to take many photos. I will definitely be heading back to explore the much talked about cafes and laneways. Until then, I feel like I can't give a proper review or opinion on Brighton. What I will say, is that the pier is absolutely amazing. How does that wooden structure stay afloat with all those people and rides? Well done.
Enjoy some of my fun snaps from the day! x
